Last February, 2020 when there was no travel restrictions yet caused by the ongoing pandemic, together with my officemates, we visited the beautiful place of Banaue, Ifugao on our way to Sagada province. I’ve been wanting to travel to this upper part of the country for quite some time. Hence, it felt surreal to actually witness the impressive product of our rich cultural heritage. Banaue rice terraces that were carved into the mountains of Banaue, Ifugao by the ancestors of the indigenous people.

Now that we are all advised to stay home to prevent the aggravation of the virus COVID-19, let me share with you some digital postcards from Banaue, Ifugao. A refreshing little escape from the fear and panic of our present situation.

Enjoy the photos!

Breakfast with a view.
Loved our breakfast spot after 10 hrs of travel time.
Splendid view of the rice terraces
Lovely day!

My road trips will not be complete without our very own relaxing lavender aromatherapy essential oil . Blended with 21 herbs and 100 percent essential oils. Keeping it handy during long hours of travel that offers immediate relief to headache, nausea, muscle pain, stomach discomfort and motion sickness. It is easy to use, simply roll it on the temples, forehead and back of the neck. You may send us a message if you wish to know more about this particular item.

Looking forward to the day that this global health crisis will be over. The time when we can all travel again to our heart’s desires. Once this pandemic is over, what destination in the Philippines will you visit first?
